Natural and genuine Sikote Alin Meteorite from (Easter Siberia) Russia. It is metallic silver and black in color with a bit of brown iron rusting, normal to iron-based Meteorites.

These Meteorites were originally discovered in 1947. This meteor was the largest observed fall in history. The fall and strike to Russia occurred at 10:38 am on February 12th of 1947. It is estimated that the Meteor weighed 70 tons and crashed into the Earth at over 30,000 MPH. These Sikote Alin Meteorites are a Iron Ocrahedrite, Coarsest (9.0 mm) IIB type.

This specimen measures about 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ x 3/4″ and weighs 67.20 grams.
