An interesting formation of Pyrite Crystals pseudomorph after Pyrrhotite from Colorado. Pseudomorph means “false form”,  meaning the original mineral formed was replaced by another mineral. However, the original shape, structure and appearance still stands. A perfect addition to any collection!

This specimen is from the M. Farber Collection. Circa 1976-1992.

It measures about 4-1/8″ x  2-1/2″ x 1-7/8″, and weighs 15 ounces.
