Description

A natural slice of Siltstone called Nature’s Painting, a sedimentary rock from China. It is an ancient river sediment of dendritic growths of manganese oxide. In China, these are called “flower and grass” due to their unique natural designs on each piece. No two are alike!

The colorations are due to inclusions of Iron (red-brown), Manganese (black), and Chlorite (green). These stones have been coated with a clear paint for ease in cleaning. It makes a perfect addition to any collection!
